In 1926, several doctors and community members founded Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center, then known as Physicians and Surgeons Hospital. The hospital's centers of excellence include the Glendale Memorial Heart Center and the Glendale Memorial Cancer Center, and the hospital is known for its women's health, behavioral health, spine and emergency services.
