In 1940, the Sisters of St. Francis of Penance and Christian Charity founded Our Lady of Perpetual Help Hospital. Today, the hospital, known as Marian Medical Center, is a 167 bed medical facility with two hospital campuses, Marian and Marian West. The hospital is known for the Marian Family Birth Center, the Marian Heart Center, and the Marian Cancer Program and Cancer Center.
