Northridge Hospital was opened in 1955 with 49 beds by a group of physicians to meet the needs of the growing community. Today, the thriving hospital serves the 1.9 million residents of the San Fernando Valley. NHMC's services include: Babies First Maternity Program, Behavioral Health, Cancer Center, Center for Rehabilitative Medicine, Heart and Lung Center, Trauma Center and Women's Center.
