St. Joseph's Behavioral Health Center has been proudly serving the community since 1974, when it opened as a small department of St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton. In 1988, the unit was moved to its current location in what was the former Oak Park Hospital. The psychiatric and chemical dependency services offered at the hospital are considered among the best in the state.
