Our Medical Director, Brad K. Moy, M.D. has practiced Occupational Medicine for over 20 years. In 2003 he accepted the position as Medical Director of our Occupational Health Centers.
As an avid golfer and sports enthusiast, Dr. Moy believes in the importance of keeping our bodies active. Maintaining an active lifestyle carries into his Occupational Health philosophy of treating injured workers as he believes that, ”Modified work facilitates the healing process.”
Why? According to Dr. Moy, “By temporarily adjusting work tasks and activities until an injured body part heals it is important to help other muscle groups stay toned and active. During the healing process, we work with the patient to gradually increase the work activities until the employee is ready to return to full duties. These incremental adjustments give an injured worker’s body the time it needs to continue to be productive and, ultimately, return to peak performance.”
