The Family Birth Center at Woodland Healthcare has the only Level II intermediate care nursery in Yolo County. Babies needing special care can usually stay at Woodland Healthcare, instead of being transferred to a Sacramento intensive care unit. This, coupled with Woodland Healthcare's affiliation with Sacramento area Mercy hospitals and consulting agreement with UC Davis Medical Center, gives us access to medical specialists in neonatology, cardiology and genetics.
