Andrew Agwunobi is chief executive officer of Providence Health Care in Spokane, Washington. He previously served as Secretary of the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. Dr. Agwunobi has also held senior executive positions with Grady Health System and South Fulton Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Additionally, Dr. Agwunobi has served as Chief of the Main Pediatric Urgent-Care Department for Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates in Boston, Massachusetts.

A certified pediatrician, Dr. Agwunobi received a Medical Doctorate from the University of Jos, Jos in Nigeria and a Masters of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in Palo Alto, California. In 2007, Dr. Agwunobi was named one of the 50 Most Powerful Physician Executives by Modern Healthcare magazine.
