Judy Rimbey, OP

General Councilor-Administrator, Adrian Dominican Sisters

Sister Judy Rimbey took office as General Councilor-Administrator of the Adrian Dominican Sisters in July of 2004. Prior to her new role in the congregation, Sister Judy served as the business manager of Aquinas Catholic High School in Chicago, as an internal auditor in the Arthur Andersen & Co. accounting firm and in her Congregation's Finance Office in Adrian, Michigan. In 1993 Sr. Judy became the first dedicated manager of Catholic Healthcare West's Community Investment portfolio. During Sr. Judy's ten years at Catholic Healthcare West, she served as an auditor in CHW's Internal Audit Department, as the Manager of Community Grants and Investments and as the Director of Community Benefit Initiatives.

Sister Judy was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. She attended St. Anthony of Padua Elementary School and Bishop Muldoon High School in Rockford. After working for nine years in small and large independent insurance agencies in Rockford and San Diego, California, she entered the Adrian Dominican Sisters in 1978.

She has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a Master's Degree in Accountancy with a concentration in Auditing from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
