Susan Snyder, OP, is the Prioress General of the Dominican Sisters, Congregation of St. Catherine of Siena, Taos, New Mexico.

Currently, she is Chair of the Corporate Members and a governing board member of Our Lady of Fatima Villa, Saratoga, CA;  and a Member of the Civil Corporation of Catholic Health Initiatives.

Sister Susan has served as a registered nurse in the acute care settings of medical-surgical care, labor and delivery, postpartum and well newborn care.  She has been a nurse educator and community educator in the field of maternity care.

She holds a bachelor of science from St. Louis University School of Nursing; a bachelor of fine arts from Emmanuel College, and a master of theology from Mundelein College of Loyola University.
