John Wray

SVP, Managed Care

With over 17 years of experience in healthcare law and managed care, Mr. Wray is responsible for providing leadership and direction to develop and implement CHW's systemwide and local managed care strategies.  He is also responsible for managing relationships with third-party payers and supporting quality and revenue management practices for the system.

Mr. Wray's health care experience includes serving as general counsel of Mullikin Medical Enterprises and as senior vice president of managed care for MedPartners.

He has been a speaker on managed care and related issues for the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the University of Wisconsin - Madison School of Business, the Center for Health Research of the University of California Berkeley School of Public Health, and the Bond Buyer Healthcare Conference in New York.

Mr. Wray is a graduate of Indiana University and Indiana University School of Law where he graduated cum laude and was editor of the law journal.  Mr. Wray is a member of the State Bar of California, American Health Lawyers Association and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
