The CHW Standards for Mission Integration provide us with the means to identify, measure and improve upon the ways in which the mission of our health care ministry is carried out. The Standards are organized into two categories:

Local Indicators are actions or behaviors we expect from those serving at a CHW facility, and demonstrate how the Standards for Mission Integration are being practiced day to day in the work of each hospital in relation to co-workers, patients, and families.
System Indicators are a means of accountability for CHW leaders. These indicators are actions or behaviors expected of the CHW Board of Directors, Executive Management Team, Religious Sponsors, or administrative office staff that help insure the systems and structures are in place to meet the Standards for Mission Integration.
